Difficulties learning mathematics and numeracy concepts - SELAGE

Difficulties learning mathematics and numeracy concepts are often less well understood than those in reading and writing difficulties. This article describes a number of ‘fundamental’ information processing strategies necessary for successful mathematics learning. It shows how differences in processing basic arithmetic information differentiates between average and less able mathematics students. A version of the paper was published as: Munro, J. (2003).
